Trisodium phosphate for Inorganic salt:Trisodium phosphate is a common inorganic salt, also known as sodium phosphate or trisodium phosphate, with the chemical formula Na₃PO₄ (usually refers to anhydrous trisodium phosphate) or Na₃PO₄-10H₂O (refers to trisodium phosphate decahydrate). Trisodium phosphate has the appearance of a white crystalline powder or granule, odorless and tasteless, but it is easily deteriorated by deliquescence in air. It is slightly soluble in water (less solubility at 20°C), but soluble in ethanol and glycerol, insoluble in ether and acetone. The aqueous solution shows alkaline reaction and has high solubility and chemical stability.
