Inspection steps

Position adjustment:

Animals usually adopt a right or left lateral position for examination, so that the ultrasound probe can clearly display various sections of the heart.

Ultrasonic examination:

Place the ultrasound probe on the chest of the animal, corresponding to the position of the heart.

By adjusting the angle and depth of the probe, observe various sections of the heart, including key structures such as the four chamber heart, five chamber heart, aortic valve, mitral valve, and tricuspid valve.

Record ultrasound images of the heart, including its systolic and diastolic function, valve opening and closing, and ventricular wall thickness.
