This kind of VBR packer is installed on the maximum specification of ordinary ram blocks( for example,5"-5 1/2" packing should be installed on the 5 1/2" ram block),thus can seal on different sizes pipes within the diameter range.The two small inserts in the middle along with the big insert fan shaped slide outward as pipe size become larger and along with the big insert fan shaped slide inward as pipe size become smaller.
It is applicable to existing well control BOP ordinary ram block, as long as the existing ordinary ram block is available, it can be used to install the new utility model variable packer.
