Characteristics:

The whole growth period is 125 days, 4 days longer than the control Zunyu 3. The plant type is semi compact, the plant height is 284cm, and the ear height is 109cm. The seedlings grow strongly, with purple leaf sheaths and green leaves. The tassels are developed, with an average of 8-12 branches and a large amount of pollen; The female spike filament is green. The spike length is 21.5 cm, and the number of rows per spike is 16. The seeds are yellow, horsetooth shaped, and the cob is white. The weight of 100 seeds is 32.2g. Tested by the Grain and Product Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture (Harbin): unit weight 686g/L, crude protein 9.01%, crude fat 3.66%, crude starch 74.91%, lysine 0.32%. Identified by the Plant Protection Institute of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences: resistant to sheath blight, moderately resistant to large leaf spot and stem rot, susceptible to small leaf spot, head smut, and susceptible to corn borer.

Output performance:

In 2008 and 2009, the average yield per mu in the regional test of the eastern group of the province was 591.1 kg, 9.43% higher than that of the control, 12 points at 15 points increased and 3 points decreased, and the yield increased by 80%. Key points of cultivation technology:

1. Timely sowing: select medium and high fertility soil, which can be sown in spring or summer, and adopt nutrient block (ball) for seedling cultivation and directional transplanting.
